This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.
This is my one ER win (to date) that never arrived. I want to make that clear, as I know the ER birdie will appear with my review … and others may wonder if I actually got my ER copy. As of this moment, I have not.

In spite of that, I was able to get my hands on it. And I would like to offer a short review because I so enjoyed this book!

Its title intrigued me – as I remember wearing hot pants about 50 years ago. Mine were electric blue polyester, not chocolate brown satin.

Its subject matter fascinated me – as I, too, can become absorbed in the emotional connections one might make with physical stuff.

I found myself quite affected by the short poems contained in it – so very expressive and poignant.

It's a really good little book! ( )
