I had this book for a while and then finally decided to read it. I loved the first 5 books but this one was just okay. It was interesting at times but I really enjoyed when it focused on the guys! This one was focused on the girls (mainly Flan). ( ) Reviewed by Taylor Rector for TeensReadToo.com In the sixth novel based on the INSIDERS series by beloved author J. Minter, the Insiders world is turned upside down! The girls have taken over! Flan Flood--Patch's little sister--is telling the story and it's her fourteenth birthday! To celebrate, Liesel, who works at a PR firm, is throwing her a sweet sixteen party at a new under-21 club called Candy that opens on Flan's birthday. Is Liesel just the head of the Candy party, or is she the female head of the Arno fan club, too? Sara-Beth Benny, better known as SBB, is back for Arno. Is she his sister or his girlfriend? Philippa can't decide if she's a lesbian and still in love with Mickey, or straight! What will she do to decide? Get in a fist-fight with Mickey's girlfriend, maybe? Liv, the new girl, is after someone, but can he handle her, or does he think that she's a lunatic? This is the best book in the INSIDERS series, by far! The girls fight, and play with the boy's hearts! What else could you want in a perfect summer read? This book shows us how the girls do things. I like that we get to see the girls point of views about the guys. It is a good way to break into a new series. We get to find out about Flan and what she really thinks of Johnathan, also Philippa and how she reacts to being a lesbian and still having feelings for Mickey. I truely liked this book. no reviews | add a review
