I have read this book to my first grader in her ELD class. It is a great book about verbs. is has some great pictures, and the sentences are short and to the point, but fun and entertaining at the same time.
I give this book at A+. ( )

This book uses funny pictures and easy to understand sentences to teach about verbs. It works to do what it sets out to do, in a way that could be engaging to a young student. ( )

  elgood | Mar 9, 2011 |
Genre: Informational
This book is a good example of an informational book because it teaches the use and necessity of verbs in everyday language. This makes sense to young children because it uses examples that are interesting to them and color codes the verbs all red. They can visually learn from this book as well as through the words.
