I’ve received a MOBI.file copy of this book from the author through a giveaway she had on LibraryThing and the following is my honest opinion.

The psychological development of any child is rooted in their parents. A prime example of this unfortunately is an individual’s attitude and perspective regarding people who of a different ethnicity, religion or race. However, the author, Jamie Pancake, in this book doesn’t address something as controversial as this; instead she deals with something far more mundane, specifically how important a child actually is in the life of their parents.

Talking from her own personal experience, Ms. Pancake, deals with parents who treat the children not as a priority, an important member of the family, but more like being subservient. As a child growing up the author probably yearned to have more attention from her parents, however none was coming; and as an adult she knew in order to raise her children in total reverse of how her parents had treated her, but not knowing how to do it, she was at a total loss. Luckily with the assistance of a woman and of another couple she became able to raise her children without any of the selfish she had experience her. And it is in this book, Ms. Pancake is sharing the cycle breaking knowledge she’s obtain; and with a little patience, the information she’s sharing is easy to understand and relatively easy to implement.
For wanting to help parents to raise their children in a more congenial manner than they’ve been raised, and making them to become more supportive of others rather than themselves, I’ve given Ms. Pancake 5 STARS ( )

The message is solid and on point, but the book is difficult to read due to it's formatting style. There are simple improvements that the author could employ to make it better. Hopefully this will be revised in future versions. ( )
