Ah, for the 'good old days' when the youngsters considered Mad Magazine to be the height of wit and wisdom both. Still, there are wildly funny cartoons contained within the pages of Mad Magazine, even 50 years later. ( )

This collection of satire from Mad Magazine derived from the 1960s evokes memories for those of us who were fans at the time. I bought every issue (I only wish I'd had the foresight to retain them) and these articles and drawing let me relive those days. I can only guess what these must seem like to someone unfamiliar with the magazine, more especially to someone who was born after the sixties. What would really be a great book would be an annotated collection of MAD through the years! ( )
