This is a well-done post-Cold War-now-Russian-mafia mystery. ( )

A novel about a man, who became a politician, and his ex-wife, a Czechoslovakian beauty queen, and a reporter who has inadvertently come to know too much. Sound familiar? The story zigged several times and I zagged, but it was roughly parallel to the current situation in U.S. politics. A fairly easy read, especially if you're interested in the current state of politics and morals in our country. ( )
