I think the weird but true series of books are all great options for kids during silent reading time or during free play. I think this book provides many interesting facts about random things in our lives that children would find interesting. It is a quick fact book, so I think it would be cool to have as a teacher to maybe start with a "fact of the day" using this book as well if you don't want to put it out for student reading. I think it would interest kids and give them a "wow" factor when learning just weird, unheard of facts. ( )
