Once again, the author has gotten me so hooked on the first few pages that I didn’t want to put the book down. This was a wonderful, easy read that really tugged at your heart strings. The characters are all so well written and real. You felt like you could jump in the book and already know everyone. I also would really like to be with the rest of the No Brides Club in NYC at the tavern. The stories main character, Melody Mitchell, left her small hometown to become a very busy, and successful songwriter and producer. Life was great in New York City. The other main character, Dr. Brody Myers, is the hometown pediatrician. Melody and Brody were sweethearts since they were 8 years old. But after after high school, Melody went to Nashville to make it big breaking both hers and Brody’s heart. When Melody comes back to town for a funeral not only does her heart start to flutter seeing Brody but learns she’s been left with the deceased's wishes of being the guardian of a 9 month adorable baby girl. Melody can’t picture herself as a mom and has a lot of baggage to overcome. So what will Melody do and where does that put Brody, I’m not spoiling it, you’ll have to read the book yourself and I know you won’t be disappointed. no reviews | add a review
