She calls herself Lady Justice. And once she has chosen a man as her target, she turns herself into a tall blonde or a curvaceous redhead, makes herself as alluring and seductive as possible to them. In Vendetta in Death, Eve Dallas must find out who is kidnapping, torturing, castrating, and killing men who have in some way abused a woman or women. The trail leads her and her team to a women's rape and abuse support group called Women for Women. All of the women in the group become suspects as each man that is killed has raped or abused at least one member of the group. The case hits close to home with Eve because her father abused her as a child. The circle of suspects begins to tighten as one woman stands out above all of the others.

This is another good entry in the In Death series. Many of the characters from previous books play a part in this story. Nothing earth shattering or new in this tale, but a very satisfying mystery in the In Death Series. I am anxious to read the 50th book in the In Death series. ( )

I was disappointed in the mystery portion of the story when the killer’s identity was revealed in the middle of the book. From that point forward, it read more like a crime/action novel without a lot of action.

This is only my second Robb novel. The other was from much earlier in the series. I remember that one being more of a mystery than this one. ( )

Interesting to see a woman as the main perpetrator. ( )
