A Neurological Study on the Effects of Canine Appeal on Psychopathy, or, RIO ADOPTS A PUPPY: A Russell's Attic Interstitial (Russell's Attic, #2.5)

This short story won't make as much sense/impact if you haven't read one of the Cas Russell books. This piece is about a stray puppy Rio saves, and his mental turmoil over whether to keep it, kill it, or find it a home. He's not a normal human being, so it's a dilemma for him. I think this short is effective in drawing a clear picture of just what sort of person Rio is. Three stars, but I wavered on giving it 3.5.
