Brief and morbidly playful variations of classic fairy tales. I'm not sure I'd say I enjoyed the stories, but they were interesting. Never After is a decent library addition for when you want a small bite to fuel imagination.

A collection of flash fiction (very short short stories) retelling various fairytales with unexpected twists. I wasn't familiar with this length of short fiction before but I really enjoyed these tales and thought they worked really well at this length. ( )

Received via Early Reviewers. Not quite what I was expecting but I did enjoy them. I felt the short stories were maybe a bit too short and would have benefitted from being slightly longer. Read the whole book in about ten minutes. ( )

Longer than haikus or limericks but aiming to express the bare essence
of familiar childhood stories with an acid or blunt force twist.

This baker’s dozen of flash stories will bring a grin, guffaw, or titter to playfully warped readers. ( )

i am not familiar with this incredibly short story format - and I don't know if i am fan. I did enjoy how some of the stories were darker versions - maybe a reflection back to their original style 100s years ago. Good for a bus trip to keep you occupied ( )
