In the 2nd book, we get a less Edward-filled story which I wasn't totally mad about. I was a little concerned about how I was gonna feel about one of my favorite book boyfriends not being there for the majority of the story, but it was better than I thought. In the beginning, we get Bellward as a couple which I love! When Edward left I got so mad and was like "What am I suppose to do now?" but I was not disappointed by the end. I liked the Jake and Bella friendship and reading about them building motorcycles but it never got more than that. Then we come to my favorite part when Bella rushed to Volterra to save Edward and I am OBSESSED. It was so thrilling and kept me at the edge of my seat the whole time reading her running to save him. One of my favorite story endings. I was so completely satisfied. But when Edward asks her to- aghhhh. You know the rest if u read. LOVED IT. (

Less streamlined than Twilight yet just as exciting, New Moon will more than feed the bloodthirsty hankerings of fans of the first volume and leave them breathless for the third.

I knew we were both in mortal danger. Still, in that instant, I felt well. Whole. I could feel my heart racing in my chest, the blood pulsing hot and fast through my veins again. My lungs filled deep with the sweet scent that came off his skin. It was like there had never been any hole in my chest. I was perfect - not healed, but as if there had never been a wound in the first place.

I FELT LIKE I WAS TRAPPED IN ONE OF THOSE TERRIFYING NIGHTMARES, the one where you have to run, run till your lungs burst, but you can't make your body move fast enough.... But this was no dream, and, unlike the nightmare, I wasn't running for my life; I was racing to save something infinitely more precious. My own life meant little to me today.
