Another book I bought for the author's dedication - this one inscribed `For Rowenna and to Greek plays'. I found it in Cheltenham's Oxfam bookshop. So much for Greek plays. While on this subject, I came across a book on Denmark the other day, a nineteenth-century publication, selling for £6 in a bookshop on Charing Cross Road. One owner had written inside it `bought for 3d at a rummage sale care of Mrs W.Bowyer'.
