What a disappointment. Mixing real people (JFK, RFK, Jackie, Ruby, ...) and events mixed with some changed historical events (JFK was not shot in Dallas) does not an alternative historical novel make. Although the story is based on theories and suspicions about JFK, other major historical characters are depicted completely against historically known facts. Completely unbelievable is the role of the Secret Service, the ease with which it helps the presidential assassin, and the lack of personal consequences thereof. Notwithstanding these major flaws, two stars for it's good research and well written 'love' story. ( )
