An enthralling and inventive thriller, only on Audible Thirteen-year-old Emily Poe has been given the opportunity of a lifetime: A chance to attend the exclusive Audyn School in Manhattan. But to win the scholarship, she has to pass a test like nothing she's ever experienced before: A nearly bare room, a set of strange clues, a locked door. And a mysterious organization - the Leopold Foundation - that's watching her every move.  But the real test has just begun. Despite the strange circumstances - in a new house, at a new school - Emily instantly bonds with fellow scholarship winner Alice Wray.  And then Alice goes missing.  Chronicling every surprising twist and turn of her search through her own private video diary, Emily sets out to find the truth behind Alice's disappearance. Soon she's drawn deep into the inner circle of the Audyn School's elite, the Nobility, who each have secrets of their own. My 12 year old said “it’s like Heathers for middle schoolers”. I think that sums it up quite well. ( )

It’s not a book I would have purchased, it was one of the monthly free selections at Audible. The story was entertaining and narration was well done. ( )

Alice Wray was an unusual girl. She knew all about everyone but hid everything about herself. Now someone is stalking her. When she vanishes only her former bestie Emily can decipher the clues she's left behind to find her.

This was my first audiobook and I honestly didn't think I would be able to follow it. But to my surprise I was completely engrossed from beginning to end. This was a fantastic mystery, well written and keeps you guessing. ( )

13 year old students are involved in the disappearance of one of the group at an exclusive private school. ( )

It has a great ending, but u feel like the premise is very familiar. New though to the YA kids of today. Has a great cast ( Audible) and I recommend it for boys and girls 12-17. (Any older might get bored and solve it early ) ( )
