The stories that were good were very very good. The stories that were bad were horrid. ( )

I like these collections. I think my favourite in this one has to be All Fish and Dracula, by Liz Williams. Not only is that phrase a wonderful description of the Whitby Goth weekend, it's a great title for this unusual tale of horror. I also liked The Cubist's Attorney, by Peter Atkins. this one isn't so much a tale of horror as a tale of the unsettlingly surreal. ( )
