Seized by Love by Melissa FosterMy rating: 4 of 5 starsThere are so many aspects that I love about Melissa Foster's novels that it would be too hard listing them all. Of course the love story is a plus. Seized By Love introduces Lizzie and Blue. Lizzie is a woman who has lots of love to give but responsibilities throughout her life have caused her to turn inward and rely on herself to look after her loved ones. When Blue looks at Lizzie he sees a women who is in need of TLC. He wants to take care of her and show her she does not have to do everything alone. Melissa Foster got right to the heart of the story from the first page. Seized by Love is about learning that hardships don't have to be faced alone. It's okay to ask for help and to open up and let love in. As with all of her books Ms. Foster created a love story that was sweet and emotional. Blue is a handyman that everyone turns to when they need things refinished or refurbished. The town loves him. He has a thing for a client, Lizzy. Lizzie owns & runs a flower shop in town. She has feelings for Blue but has not agreed to date him in the 2 years she's known him. While in college, her father fell ill and she had to find a way to pay for college on her own. She came up with the idea of disguising herself in a blond wig & glasses and using her love of baking for a webcast called "The Naked Baker." It paid her way through college and her down payment on her flower shop. Now her sister is in college & she is using the money so her sister doesn't have to struggle & worry like she did. However, the idea of 2 more years of the webcast is getting to her. She keeps refusing Blue because she's afraid he'll find out about her secret and she'll lose him.

Blue finally gets Lizzie to agree to a date & the chemistry takes over. Lizzie builds her courage up to confess to him about her webcast. Will Lizzie lose Blue? Will he accept what she is doing & why? Will their relationship last?

Melissa's characters are always complex & well rounded. They are the people you can see living next door and calling you a friend. Her stories are well thought out and draw you into them. They can be read as the series but could also be read as a stand alone. Can't wait for the next in the series! ( )

I sometimes wonder if Melissa Foster is one of the hardest working romance authors in the business! I am astounded that she manages to produce amazing stories at such a quick rate! But she does and all of her series are awesome! And this book is no different!
Have you every kept a secret so huge, you know if you ever reveal it you whole life will change and not for the better. Lizzie Barber faces that problem…you see she is The Naked Baker! This is something Lizzie has done since her college days in order to pay her way through college and now she continues in order to pay for her sister. But while hiding this part of her, she has also put up a thick wall around her emotions so she doesn't get hurt. But in doing that, she also rejects the one man she has ever cared about…Blue Ryder.
Blue Ryder has been cheated on in the past, which makes him extra wary with the women he meets. All except for Lizzie, since meeting her at a wedding a year ago he has been half in love with her, but after a year of being turned down, he finally get Lizzie to say yes to a date!!! And he is thrilled that finally he is with the women he loves…until she reveals her dark secret and he feels betrayed.
Now Lizzie has finally told everyone in her life and it has not gone as well as she would have hoped and now she feels more alone than ever! Will Blue and Lizzie ever be able to trust each other again?
This is another great book in the Love in Bloom series! As normal with a Melissa Fosters book, the story is beautifully written, with no plot holes and lovable characters! I have re-read the story again and again and I still love every second of this story.
I give Seized By Love 10 out of 10!
