A theological, exegetical, and practical approach has been adopted to study this subject, with due cognisance given to the history of missions and the observations and proposals of experienced missionaries. An awareness of global missions - ranging from tribal to urban outreach, homogeneous to cross-cultural evangelism, and past to present practice - will give one a sense of direction, purpose and destiny. There is no better way to glorify God than to build up the church of Jesus Christ, by serving in a good local church that is involved in missions. Intended as a textbook on missiology, it is expected that this book will be helpful also to pastors, missionaries, and serious Christians of all denominations.… (more)
