I loved this series and have everything crossed in hopes that it will continue. And WHY are they not on audio?!

Conflicted

I both liked and disliked this final book.

On the one hand, it is very nicely written. The characters remain true to themselves, the dialogue reads nicely, and the plot drives forward. Everything works.

However.

Some of the plot feels rushed. Actions are taken that feel...off. As if the end is controlling the middle. For instance, the romantic interest is a bit jarring, while still feeling almost inevitable.

I still liked the series. I would be interested in a follow-on series. ( )
