Yoder School (Dreamseeker Memoir) (edition 2019)

A very intriguing look into a biography that spans several worlds I know well. It is especially interesting for me because I cross some of those same bridges, but from the other side. Often I have arrived on the other shore with the same sense of not fully belonging. This is a reassuring book for those of us who have open borders and lots of immigrants (thoughts, people, experiences) crossing them legally and illegally in our brains and in our biographies. Without going into academic discussions about learning theory and schools, Phyllis can teach you a lot about teaching by following her life's quest, calling, passion in Yoder School. ( )
