![]() None No current Talk conversations about this book. VEN. SOLANUS CASEY This is one of the first books lent me by the priest who instructed me in my conversion process. His is a story of humility, desire, and great love of Jesus and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. As a Capuchin priest, he was not allowed to hear confessions or preach, as it was deemed he was not bright enough. But he was allowed to be a doorkeeper (porter), and in this capacity, he changed thousands of lives through his wise counsel, humility, and supernatural gifts. I know of some people who spoke with him when he was alive, and who were healed or given prophetic counsel. He has helped me in many ways, this humble saint. no reviews | add a review
