Now that Janet Evanovich has sold her soul to the continuing publication of her (lately) relentlessly boring Stephanie Plum series, try this on for size. Better than the "16." ( )

Another chick lit type read. Paralegal Finley Anderson Taylor is assigned a case by a senior partner. The client, a grieving widow, is convinced that her husband's death was not an accident. Finley digs deeper to discover more irregularities in the case. One of the subplots involves Finley's searching out of discount designer duds and accessories. ( )

A fun, easy read - a lot like Evanovich - good to fill time between "heavier" topics. ( )

So far, this is the first of a series of three books about Finley Anderson Tanner (F.A.T.), a paralegal in West Palm Beach. She's bored with her job, can't get along with her mother and can put together a high-end wardrobe on a tight budge. When a client of her firm believe's his accidental death is really a murder - she's on the case. If you like Stephanie Plum, you will really enjoy Finley Anderson Tanner. ( )
