No current Talk conversations about this book. sweet ( ) Being a big chick-lit fan and Red Dress Ink fan this book was right up my alley. It was a cute story about a girl who was being framed for the murder and attempted murder of three of her ex-boyfriends that dumped her in horrible ways like catching one in the bedroom at her birthday party with a woman's lips attached in the midsection. Ouch!! Not a fun way to find out about [b:the other woman|58345|The Awakening|Kate Chopin|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1170507247s/58345.jpg|1970518]!Anyway the hunky detective that refuses to believes she is innocent is non-other than her high-school crush that didn't even know she existed back then. It wasn't as witty or as funny as some chick-lit I've read but the plot was good and the who-done-it ending was a surprise. no reviews | add a review

HTML: When did Abby Foote's life become an episode of Law & Order? First, a former boyfriend (who dumped Abby in the most humiliating way imaginable) is found murdered the day his engagement is announced. Then two other ex-boyfriends report attempts made on their lives right after breaking up with her. Coincidence? Detective Benjamin Orr, of the Portland Police Department (and Very Probing Questions and Incredibly Delicious Face), doesn't think so. Neither do Abby's friends, family, coworkers and other exes--who are suddenly shaking in their shoes. Soon everyone is sucking up to her as though the Abby they know and supposedly love to death is capable of poisoning their drinks.... Is someone trying to frame her? Who? And why? She has to find out fast. Because by-the-book Ben is bound to break her heart. Which makes him next on someone's list... .No library descriptions found. |
