This is a lovely picture book to learn numbers from things around us in the most natural way. ( ) This book is a simple counting book. Each page has a number on it. It includes the number (1), the spelling (one), and dots to represent the number. The page next to the number has that amount of objects. For example, next to the number one, there is one chicken. Next to the number two, there are two ice cream cones, and so on. There was one thing that was not ideal about this book. After 15, it skips to 20, then after that, it skips to 30, then counts in tens until 50, then skips to 100. It doesn't seem like the ideal way to teach counting, and reading this could confuse children. no reviews | add a review
