A comforting message from someone who's passed on to someone left behind: "If you learn to watch with your heart, you'll find me all around." The illustrations, in a mostly pastel palette, show the many situations in which the speaker-from-beyond hopes the person they've left will remember them, such as "the satisfaction of finishing a really good book" and "every hug that warms you."

This is a great book for a child to understand that even though their loved ones may not be there physically, they are always around. They can show up as the wind, the first note on the piano, or the moonlight kissing you goodnight. The people who love you will never leave your side.
