If you are into fiction, you'll love these books. The Shades of Magic series brings you into a world of the haves and have nots, some people have magic, some worlds have magic, and others do not. The main character is able to go through to other worlds, specifically, other "Londons" it is a thrilling tale told in 3 volumes. The final volume dragged a little toward the end, as there were many ends to wrap up. But all in all excellent. ( )

How have I not read this series before now??? I fell in love with the world and characters straight away. Normally I don't like bouncing between two characters (or more) because I usually favour one over the others. Not here! I did guess Lila's truth early on, but it didn't detract from my enjoyment. Holland became a favourite for his complexity, and history. Highly recommended series! ( )
