I guess I appreciate the legacy and the pastiches much more than I do the actual original. And mostly I put that down to finding Holmes absolutely insufferably arrogant (I realise many people find that part of his charm, but I don't.)

This is, I think, one character best viewed through a filter made by someone else. ( )

I like mistery very much.
Holmes is very clever.He solved a lot of problem.
He is a reliable person. So,I respect him!!
