Teenagers As stated in the title, this is a teenaged version of Dr. Phil's Life Strategies book. The book is intended to be used as a workbook for the reader to get the most out of it. Mostly, it is just a process of clarifying what the reader wants, and how they can possibly achieve those goals. It's a fairly straightforward process, but ultimately I think the sort of orientation classes they offer in colleges would do much better work than this book. Jay McGraw tried to make the ten life laws concepts understandable and included useful stories to help clarify each concept. Most of the time I thought his approach of anecdotes and metaphors were good and at other times I thought certain sections were long winded with too much explanation. I think this book would be a good recommendation for students to follow a step by step plan to improve their life, which is written from a young adults point of view. no reviews | add a review
