Engaging book and easy to read. Had me guessing what was going to happen before reading the next chapter(s). Would definitely recommend reading. Look forward to reading more books by this author. ( )

An Early Reader’s review: Courage Without Grace by Jeannie Zokan
This is a very fast paced story of a very mixed up young woman. Ironically, she is a palm reader who tries to clarify personalities and situations for strangers, but she can’t read her own heart. She must be an incredible hottie as she flows from one guy to the next like a bee visiting flowers—she has to beat off an unwelcome advance and step on the toes of guys who are attracted to her. There are sequences of soul searching, but she really recovers from heartbreak pretty abruptly. Courage without Grace has kind of a double meaning—she has to survive the unsanctioned adoption of her daughter, Grace and she ungracefully displays courage throughout the story.
This is not a bad read, but it feels light. ( )
