( ) "Of course, she hadn't expected to get hit in the face with a glitter bomb, either, but here she was." What an absolute delight to be welcomed back to Ever After! Men are Frogs is just as whimsical and quirky as the first book set in this magical town. Prince Charming and Zuri are the perfect pair to center this story around. We're introduced to a few new characters, some known favorites return, and the Fairy Godmothers get up to plenty of meddling again :). I mean, their banter is just hilarious! I couldn't help devouring this novel...I think it's possible I even enjoyed it more than the first! I adore how the Fairy Godmother stories have been written so far and I am very much looking forward to more! This is just the most perfect light-hearted read. Such a HUGE thank you goes out to Kensington Books for the ARC to read, enjoy, and honestly review! no reviews | add a review

Wedding planner Zuri Davis is happy to be offered a job with Fairy Godmothers, Inc., and trade the excitement of Chicago for the small-town charm of Ever After, Missouri. Falling for one of her grooms destroyed her career-- and proved to her that all men are indeed frogs. When she meets B&B owner Phillip Charming, who definitely lives up to his name, even she is tempted to test that theory. Three hundred years as a frog by day and himself by night, is enough to test any man's patience, even if Phillip knows he deserved Petunia's curse. And stubborn, proud Zuri is a woman he'd like to promise his heart and everything else to-- if only he weren't a sometimes-frog. Can he hope for True Love's Kiss from a woman whose trust has been so thoroughly broken? -- adapted from back cover No library descriptions found. |
