Took a bit to get into, i also didn’t have a lot of time to read but I reckon half way through, it picks up massively and I LOVED it by the end!!! The ending 😩😩 I quite literally yelled, got up, ran around and couldn’t contain my reaction??? How has that not come up on booktok?? Shookith ( )

Somehow, just as captivating as the first book, which I find an amazing feat. Usually sequels drag a little for me but I thought the pacing in this was possibly even better than the first book. ( )

I was about to give this book a 2 star rating till that very end, like what in the fuckery fuck!! Sarah, I see what you did there 👀 😏 , That ending before the epilogue like WHOA! ❤️❤️❤️

The rest of my review though eh, the book was way too long, this should have been broken down into two books or somethings just left out. There was so much going on and honestly I was just bored. I was also irritated because from book 1 to this one Bryce has been going through hell and back trying to find out answers about what Danika was doing and the more she digs the more it seems that her so called friendship with Danika may have been only one sided, sorry but she knows as much about Danika as I know about my "social media friends". If it wasn't for Ruhn's story building and that ending I would've rated this a 2, but of course Sarah has a way of keeping you hooked and I preordered the next book ( ebook ) with some amazon credits I had available, lol.

❤️ Ruhn's character building in this book
❤️ The ending
👎 spice, seemed forced in a lot of scenes to the point I skipped ahead
👎 way too long, lets cut some pages out ( )

Slow, repetitive, and unbelievable. Basically only the worst aspects of the first book. Not worth my time. ( )
