This is the creepiest issue yet, or perhaps it's more accurate to say it's the most disturbing. John Dee has control of the Ruby, and embarks on a sick and twisted plan to try and amuse himself. Graphic violence, but what was worse, I thought, is the way that the small town "innocents" who become involved in Dee's madness were really not the mild-mannered folk they first appeared to be. Each of them had a disturbing skeleton in his or her closet, long before Dee showed up on the scene. This was more chilling than all the blood and gore. Disturbing, but really interesting, too.

I'm really hooked now. ( )
