Disclaimer: I received this book for free from LibraryThing in return for an honest review.

Jinx McGee is possessed by a demon, she calls Hannah. She has turned her situation into a lucrative career hunting demons with the help of her demon. But there is a rebellion brewing in hell and their leader believe Jinx and Hannah are the key to his victory. Her demon ex-boyfriend has also returned after being missing for years. He also knows more about the rebellion then he is letting on. Now it is Jinx and her friends to stop him before it is too late.

Overall I enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the protagonist Jinx. She is dynamic, tough, and sarcastic. On the other hand, I found her boyfriend Dominic to be one dimensional and dull. This supernatural thriller is a great set up to what is sure to be an interesting series. I would read the next book in this series. ( )

I really liked the Author’s first book in the series and was so glad that I got the opportunity to read the second book!
Several members of the Delta Alpha Mu fraternity have been murdered. Lily Knightt proceeds to investigate. Since she is a Cambion things get interesting fast.
Can’t wait for the next book in this series ( )

UGH. Ok, it's a perfectly good mindless urban fantasy - I quite enjoyed it, after I stopped trying to actually read it and just skimmed. But she is sex-obsessed, impulsive to the point of stupidity, and...we are told, over and over, that there's this wonderful relationship they had. But it seems to consist/have consisted entirely of her lusting after him (and apparently the reverse, as well). Plot holes galore - it's fun, as long as you don't think. ( )

A light easy read. Action, sexual tension, baddies and goodies . Magic. Mystery.
I got a little confused with all the different types of demons and their relationships. The main characters were clearly defined, I was surprised to see a character called Alexi Volkoff as this is a character is the TV series Chuck.
The ending left me wanting more so I will wait with abated breath for the next book in this series. ( )

Catching Hell by D.B. Sieders is the first book in the "Jinx McGee" series. Jinx is possessed by a demon and discovers this when she's just five years old. Since then she's turned this possession into a career as a demon hunter. A rebellion is brewing in hell and Jinx’s boss believes it makes her a liability and puts her on a deadline to sort it out with her sexy ex-boyfriend.

Jinx has a fantastic amount of sarcasm and a witty sense of humour. Dominic, Jinx's love interest I wasn't drawn to as much. There was a lot of sparks physically but I felt there wasn't as much a deeper connection. Maybe that might come later in the series? I found the book a lot of fun, especially adding in side characters who I'd like to find out more about. Liked the premise of the book and will read the second in the series. ( )
