Very interesting take on Holmes and Watson starts as a comedy but morphs into something a bit more serious by the end. Stephens as Holmes is excellent, and Blakely as Watson is even better. As the mysterious woman at the center of the case, French actress Geneviève Page is very good as well. And none other than Christopher Lee turns up as an atypical Mycroft Holmes. ( )
