Another Stuart Woods thriller -- this time Stone is asked to protect the ex- of a US Senator who's out go kill her. She keeps doing dumb stuff that should get her killed and given Woods' penchant for killing off Stone's girlfriend, the reader anticipates it several times. The book dragged in the middle as the girl keeps doing stupid stuff--but the expected never happens and in the end Stone kicks her to the curb.
