This book is great. It is concise and full of practical information. I also like that it is for ages 40 and up, when people sometimes need the extra retirement consideration. Recommend.

I found this book to be on of the better books on retirement planning. Clear, concise, and easily understood. It was general enough to be a starting point for anyone.

I appreciated that it wasn't just about money but addressed the emotional and mental aspects of retirement. Addressing the need to keep busy mentally even after retirement was a good and unusual aspect.

As someone in my forties, I found this to be a very timely and useful read. ( )

I found this book to be clear and easy to understand when reading through. As someone who had absolutely no idea where to start this book gave me a much better understanding and has lots of topics that are very helpful! ( )

This book should be your first stop when getting your financial house in order. Mr. Holt does not brow beat or guilt you into decisions, he explains very clearly the information you need to get started on your retirement plan. I like that where he disagreed with other well known retirement people he states his case why he believes it and explains his rational. ( )

A quick and easy introductory read for those just beginning to think about retirement plans (or readers that need to rethink their current ones, because life changes). It's not comprehensive, but definitely hits the highlights. A few ideas and suggestions that aren't typical of many retirement planning books, but relevant points just the same. Applause for the encouragingly positive tone. Would be useful for the readers in their 20s and 30s too.
