This book is about dogs that are doing all sorts of things. There is not really a plot or anything, but this is a great book for younger children to practice reading and reading out loud. I would give this to kindergarten age students to use as one of their first books that they can try to read by themselves.

A silly book that guides kids in learning and understanding observations, as well as skills in manners. This is the perfect book for learning how to read! ( )

Written for beginning readers using only 75 different words, this beloved Beginner Book by P.D. Eastman--edited by Dr. Seuss--features all kinds of wonderful dogs riding bicycles, scooters, skis, roller skates, and driving all sorts of vehicles on their way to a party held on top of a tree!

I remember reading this book when younger--though in my mind it was a "Dr. Seuss Book" so as an adult I couldn't find it. What I most remember about the book is that one of the illustrations had a dog with a hat that reminded me of my grandfather.

I rediscovered this book when my nephew was younger and I read it to him--at which point I realized it was not a "Dr. Seuss Book" but was written by P. D. Eastman. ( )

This is the first book my son read out loud to me. For that I would gladly give this book 10 stars. Fun story that is easy enough for new readers. ( )
