Classic Kate. Yaay!

Kate Daniels and Curran just can’t stay out of trouble, despite having left the pack. They need a power base to protect their son, so they just kind of start one, fighting new locals. It’s exactly what you expect at this point. ( )

After leaving Atlanta, Kate Daniels settles with her husband and son in Wilmington, looking for a quiet life without the issues she faced in Atlanta. Alas, a quiet life just isn’t going to happen - trouble comes calling.

Fun.

They aren't done with Kate Daniels yet, and I am here for it -- loved this, loved seeing Kate and Curran as parents to a completely different sort of youngster than Julie is, loved the eccentric shifter crew that's already in their neighborhood. Very good. ( )

A novella set in the Kate Daniels world. A pretty simple story, introducing the next chapter for Kate, Curran and their son Conlan. Probably not a good place to start if you haven't read the rest of the series.
This is one of the 'rushing around and *ish happen while securing new allies and astonishing reader' plots, which I generally can be entertained by, but which ultimately is a little thin as plot goes. ( )
