I really enjoy the shadowrun world, and this one was no exception. Nigel Findley does a great job of describing the futuristic world of Shadorun and the plot and characters are great. Four stars and I definetely must find his other books now. ( )

(22. Juli 1959 - 19. Februar 1995)
Nigel war im letzten Stadium der Korrektur dieses Romans, als er am 19. Februar 1995 starb. Wie alle anderen Romane, die er geschrieben hat, ist auch dieser ein Beispiel für seine unglaubliche kreative Fähigkeit, das Unbekannte zu nehmen und daraus etwas Glaubhaftes und Erfreuliches zu schaffen. Haus der Sonne hat eine besondere Bedeutung für Nigels Leben, weil Dirk Montgomery seine Lieblingsromanfigur und Hawaii sein Lieblingsort war. Dirk wieder ins Getümmel zu werfen war eine Herausforderung, die Nigel mit dem ihm eigenen Talent und unbändiger Phantasie anging. Da ich weiß, wie viel Spaß ihm das Schreiben dieses Romans gemacht hat, widme ich ihn seiner unglaublichen schriftstellerischen Begabung, seiner Lebenslust und dem wunderbaren Mann, der er war.
