Big jump up in rating from vol. 1 to 2...in her afterward the mangaka mentions that she was really waiting to get to where the plot goes in vol. 2, and I can totally see that passion in this volume! Hot, sweet, and kept surprising me with the smart turns in conversation and the satisfying way characters react to and address parts of the story.

I can't give up on "genre BL" because I find these gems like these sometimes!

Hinohara's art is still quite beautiful, and this one was better paced than the first volume. Everything that's teased in volume 1 is overall a lot stronger here. Looking forward to volume 3! ( )
