Kat Kong is an entertaining parody on King Kong. Students may not know this original story, but they are inspired and excited by Kat Kong. The author uses his personal pets as characters in this action-packed adventure. This is a fun read aloud and inspires young writers to practice creative writing. ( )

As a fan of anything cats or weird cat photos, I've seen this in the library while shelving and thought to myself, yes you need to read this book. I'm glad I did! It was definitely silly, cute and all together a great read! Loved the little quotes in the book that not everyone may get. Recommended for kids of all ages. ( )

The original King Kong film has been recast by the author with his pet mice and cat. He’s made some terribly silly collage illustrations. To these terribly silly pictures he has added some terribly silly text. LOL!! ( )
