When you first meet Cage and his adorable daughter Gracie in this series you learn a few things about him like he is the most amazing father, his family is incredibly supportive and funny, he’s a grump, and his heart has only belonged to one woman. When Presley’s life is turned upside down and thrown into a media frenzy and her father gets sick she heads back to the one place that held so much hope for her at one time, but she knows she will have to come face to face with her past. These two had an epic love from the moment they met as teenagers, through the summers they got to spend together, then through college until life got in their way. Cage and Presley’s chemistry together is one of a kind but time was never on their side, but maybe this is at least a chance to get closure. I love each character, especially Gracie in all her cuteness and huge heart that I hated to see this series come to an end because this family is incredible even the cousins from Honey Mountain. The author has a way of making the reader like they are a part of this extended family and have them falling in love with every single second of the journey. ( )
