This books offers a few good tips, though a few too many coffee shops. For me the organization made it difficult to keep track of things, though it may work better for a first time visitor. A cautionary note: page 20 talks about driving to Kahakuloa (12 miles) then on to Lahaina (21 miles). Think truly one lane road with blind switchbacks, gravel/dirt surface. Think not hours, not minutes. It took us 3+ hours of driving. It makes the road to Hana seem like a four lane freeway! ( ) no reviews | add a review
