Enjoyed the story, Irish Thoroughbred much more for the humor and more touching personalities. Paddy was truly a lovable man. Both girls were willing to leave everything about their past lives and create a new life in America. Both were totally inexperienced in matters of love and let dominating men take over. Reviews of each story with their own titles. ( )

I guess it was okay for her first effort. Very Predictable storylines. ( )

Two books. Irish Thoroughbred was authors first book. Pleasant stories set in horse racing world but not real absorbing, predictable insecurities and I skimmed some. Adelia leaves Ireland to live with Uncle and meets horse farm owner Travis. Erin leaves Ireland to work for horse farm owner Burke.

Typical contemporary romance from Nora Roberts. Entertaining, sort of. Roberts makes the Irish seem like backwater bumpkins. ( )
