As one of the leading Christian authors, Lori writes both contemporary and historical novels that can readily be classified as Christian Romance novels. Cassidy is a fairly newly minted Christian when she comes to a new town and applies her seamstress skills and settles into the church and small-town life. Her past and her outlaw brother catch up to here eventually forming the crisis for this book. It is good to see her faith growing through her actions and having good friends gets her through the crisis. The reset you'll need to read for yourself. ( )

The overall story of Cassidy was very romantic and contained some good action and suspense and I liked it. I did not like it as much as some other [author: Lori Wick] books I have read however. There was an awkwardness in the writing that I did not understand, every so often it would say "that lady" instead of "she" and it always made me stop and pause losing where I was because it stood out so much. I do look forward to reading [book: Sabrina] soon. ( )
