This course is part of the Higher Still framework, and is the main route for students achieving General level at Standard Grade, as well as a lead up to the Higher course. The book matches the course arrangements and is structured around the three main units of the course: building blocks; carbon compounds; and acids, bases and metals. The assessment arrangements are also covered, along with explanations and examples.
