The umbrella: A romantic story of mistaken identity. On a wet day, the purchase of an umbrella leads to a romantic chance encounter. The well: Lia and Jay's grandmother is old and in poor health. She begs her family to fetch water from the well at the abandoned family farm in the hills. On their journey the teenagers meet a variety of people and when they return , it is not just the well water that they bring back to the city. Ski race (erroneously attributed to John Milne.): Rebecca, Sue, Mark and David are on a skiing holiday in the mountains. It is going to be a fun-filled week with a skiing competition on the last day. Who will win? Sara Says No!:- Everybody in Middletown likes Mr Fruit, everybody except his daughter, Sara. She doesn't like him because he is dishonest.
