Another Ruth Heller grammar book,
Rich colors and bold illustrations help present the concept of prepositions.

I was observing a 5th grade English class and this teacher whipped out this book and read it to her class. I really loved how she incorporated a story when teaching grammar. I always had trouble as a student understanding things like prepositions, verbs, adverbs, nouns, and all those fancy words that meant things I knew how to do but not how to explain. This book really offers a fun easy to understand explanation of how prepositions work. And instead of putting on another video for kids to watch explaining it, you read the book and then the students can go and get that book and read it again and again and all of the sudden they have a deep understanding of it! We loved this book so much that we want to read all the others by the author. I enjoyed it as much as the children. : ) Adored the prose with the prepositions highlighted for children to learn exactly what they are and how they are used, and the illustrations were very nice as well. ( )

This book is all about prepositions. Easy to understand and all the prepositions in the book are in bold print and easy to find. I would definitely want to read this to my students when learning about prepositions. ( )
