( ) My Thoughts: First book of the vaunted Alex Cross series that I have finally gotten around to reading. Quantitative Evaluation: Story telling quality = 4.5 Character development = 4.5 Story itself = 4.5 Writing Style = 4.5 Ending = 4 World building = 4.5 Cover art = 4 Pace = (12 hrs and 1 min listening time) Plot = 5 Narration = 5 Overall Rating: 4.5 out of 5 This was a ok read but a bit predictable for a lot of it. I found a lot of the the romance was quite cringe-worthy and the story line quite drawn out but there was still sufficient interest for me to keep reading it. I think this was my first James Patterson book and I will give another one a go. 3.5 stars. no reviews | add a review
