Sophie's Knapsack is a cute story about a family who goes out hiking in the mountains. The message of this story, is that sometimes we need to get out of the city and explore the beautiful wilderness that is still out there. On the very first page, Sophie's father says "It's time that I take you to see some real sky." This book definitely serves as an invitation to explore nature.Something that more kids and families should do during free time. ( )
